$35,000 for Unlimited Biz-Class Flights to London, Paris?

LaCompagnie_Cabin

Could you justify spending $35,000 for a year’s worth of unlimited business-class flights between New York and London or Paris? Probably not. But if so, La Compagnie has a deal for you.

Between July 18 and July 23, the newish all-business-class transatlantic carrier will offer for sale 10 $35,000 passes for unlimited flights for one year.

Deal or No Deal

Worth it? The math is pretty straightforward.

On most airlines, roundtrip business-class trips to London average around $3,500 for travel in late July; Paris flights are somewhat cheaper, at around $3,000 roundtrip. So, to justify the $35,000 annual pass, you’d have to fly at least 10 times to London, and 12 times to Paris, in 12 months.

La Compagnie’s own airfares are considerably cheaper, as low as $1,600 to London and $1,800 to Paris. So you’d have to fly twice a month to cover the cost of the annual pass.

Either way, it takes a lot of trips across the pond to break even on this offer.

Those whose travel plans make this a financially viable deal can submit their email addresses on the airline’s website to receive a reminder before the passes go on sale.
