In what could be its final systemwide bonus offer before being merged with Marriott, Starwood’s “Take Two” promotion features double points, and in some cases a little something extra.
Offer Details
Between January 11 and April 10, members of Starwood’s Preferred Guest program can earn double points for stays of two or more nights at any Starwood property, plus 250 bonus points for stays of one ore more nights at select hotels, including more than 90 locations in the U.S.

There’s no limit to the number of bonus points that may be earned through the promotion. Registration is required.
Deal or No Deal
Double points is a modest bonus, to be sure. The extra 250 points help, but not that much. The best that can be said about this promotion is that it’s no worse than other major hotel offers for the first part of 2016.
It’s worth noting that the bonuses may be combined with a separate Starwood promotion: 2,500 Preferred Guest points for using keyless entry during a stay charged to an American Express card and completed at a participating property by February 29.
Every little bit helps.
