Between September 12 and December 18, Starwood Preferred Guest members can earn double points for weekday stays of two or more nights or triple points for weekend stays of two or more nights.
Registration is required, but won’t be available until September 12.
Deal or No Deal
As with so many fall hotel promotions, this one is probably just enough to keep Starwood loyalists from jumping ship, but hardly a game-changer for travelers with no preexisting inclination to book Starwood stays.

my IHG Accelerate promotion this fall is pretty good. I would earn around 35k bonus IHG points if I make 2 stays at non-Express Holiday Inn’s, one of which has to be in a major city (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.), but the other can be anywhere, and both can be as short as 1 night.
